Automne - Amelie Chassary

Amélie Chassary photographs autumn in all its splendor and flamboyant beauty. We can imagine her walking through the forest in the manner of the American philosopher Thoreau in Walden or Life in the Woods. She has just read his book Teintes d'automne, which was originally intended to be a simple drawing book. A. Chassary has the ability to highlight this invisible relationship that we have, from the start, with the flesh of the world, well before perception itself. And in doing so, she puts into action the idea she has of photography: "I am looking for a confusion between photography, painting and drawing."
